The Advent/Christmas season has become increasingly commercialized and secular, filled with distractions and high emotions. The purpose of this anthology is to draw the minds and hearts of our readers back to the true center of this Christian holiday—the Lord Jesus Christ. We are accepting a variety of written forms plus art. If you have an idea for a submission type that is not listed, please contact us with your idea.
As Christians, our writing is part of our testimony and our witness, even if our writing is not explicitly Christian. Even if you don’t typically write for the Christian Market, you are welcome to submit your creative works that keep Christ in Christmas.
What are we looking for?
This book will be a collection of reflections on Christmas. Entries can take any of the following forms:
- A reflection of a special past Christmas
- A Christmas miracle you experienced
- A Christmas season that God blessed in spite of difficult circumstances
- Fictional short story
- An essay
- A poem
- A prayer
- Original artwork on the theme of God’s gift of his Son
Members may submit one or more entries for inclusion. You may include royalty-free photos, graphics, or artwork to supplement your entry. You must provide the source URL and the attribution for any photos/graphics/artwork. Stand-alone artwork should be accompanied with a title and/or written explanation that links to the Christmas theme of the anthology.
