Melanie Morey Jeschke is the author of a series of inspirational historical romance novels set around the Inklings, called The Oxford Chronicles (including Inklings, Intentions, Expectations, & Evasions), as well as Jillian Dare: A Modern Retelling of Jane Eyre, the chapter on Oxford for Rick Steves’ England guidebook, and numerous travel articles published in newspapers and WORLD magazine. A retired adjunct professor of English Composition and Literature, she has taught at Marymount University, NOVA (Manassas) and Patrick Henry College. Melanie is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate in English from the University of Virginia, with a MA in English Literature from George Mason University, and took graduate courses on Jane Austen and Shakespeare at Oxford University. A mother of nine and “Mimi” to thirty-five and counting, Melanie has been married to Bill Jeschke, the founding pastor of The King’s Chapel, for nearly 50 years.
